Testimonials

I am writing just to convey to you how much I appreciate my seven short successful weeks with you working with me...Without therapy, I was told that to get to this point I was looking at approximately six months. Therapy helped me progress to my current status in one-sixth of the time...I would be amazed at the exercises you would give me to do at the clinic as well as the ones you encouraged me to do on my own. They were very creative and I am sure they took much research on your part; it was not as simply as bending my wrist and lifting weights. I was ignorant in my thinking, and you have greatly impressed me.

Thank you very much for your hard work, dedication, creative thinking, and concern towards me. I would recommend you to anyone who would be in need. Good luck with your future patients.

How can I express the gratitude I feel for all that you did all these past months to bring me to where I am today??? These are no words!! We were a team on a mission to my well-being! You pushed and never stopped driving me forward and onward!! Many days I was exhausted but I did what you asked of me because I wanted to get better and I knew I had to work hard each time I came to overcome the most difficult time of my life. I thank GOD that Jonathan opened up 1st Choice. I would not be where I am today, I know, if 1st Choice did not exist and I wouldn't have met such a GREAT professional physical therapist as you! Thank you for giving my life back to me again!!!

After my shoulder surgery...I searched for a physical therapy location where I could receive professional treatment...When I called your facility, I was greeted kindly and politely by your administrative staff and I was assisted in making an assessment as to the appropriateness of your professional offerings. After my first appointment and observations, I felt assured that 1st Choice would indeed be my first choice... I have found your facility to be clean and to offer comprehensive instructions, materials, equipment and qualified and well-trained personnel. You and all your employees provide a pleasant atmosphere with the appropriate amount of challenges, privacy, encouragement, personal attention, scheduling accommodations, and genuine care and interest in your clients.

Not only have I experienced courtesy, understanding and respect for my condition, abilities, and work-out pace, but I have recognized how you compassionately balance these characteristics for all the other patients you have at 1st Choice.

I have appreciated your management of my rehabilitation needs, the punctual reports, updates and recommendations you have sent to my surgeon, and, most importantly, the improvements you have progressed me through.

I will be proud to wear the 1st Choice T-shirt and happy to recommend you to others who could benefit from your practice.

Thank you for your attentiveness and in providing a quality plan of treatment that restored me back to my normal functional activities. I am pain free, still doing your recommended home exercises and walking 1 ½ to 2 miles, 4 X a week. My body, mind and soul is (sic) stabilized. I feel good!! I will highly recommend your facility. Keep me in mind when you create your next brochure. I want to be in it (smile). Hi Jonathan. You have a wonderful staff, and thank you Mimi.

Face it folks-I'm a slug! At two pounds and two months premature, I didn't move at all unless someone poked me. It's a legacy I honor to this day: Don't move unless you're being poked, literally or figuratively.

When I first arrived at 1st Choice, I was there by default. My doctors had refused to prescribe stronger pain medication, and I was desperate to find something that would mitigate the agony of fibromyalgia. As someone who had been almost bedridden by disease, I had become so deconditioned that I had virtually no core muscle....

By the time I left 1st Choice, I was well on my way toward a fitness level I hadn't attained since my twenties. Given that I'm now "pushing 60," that was-and is-amazing!

...(T)he whole 1st Choice staff were always kind and never judgmental (as I thought "jocks" would be). I miss them all and I'll never forget their patience, kindness, and expertise. My life has changed 100%! I hope I'll always appreciate that I have my mobility back – I can travel, or even cook a meal for my husband. I'm leading a full life, thanks to 1st Choice.

I love you all and miss you more than I can say. I think of you often and say a prayer for you every time I step on the treadmill. Then I suck it up, put a towel around my neck ...and poke myself to get moving.

When my doctor decided I should have physical therapy, he gave me 2 facilities from which to choose. Before I could decide he said, "Wait, I'd like you to go to 1st Choice. They are really good."

I went to my first appointment. It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. The office manager was friendly and efficient. She helped me with the necessary paperwork and told me the procedure for signing in, scheduling, etc.

The lobby and the therapy area are bright and clean. My therapist explained in detail how my therapy would proceed. He was friendly and attentive during my session and adjusted the treatment as necessary to suit my needs. The entire staff is pleasant, the atmosphere is relaxed, and sessions always began at the scheduled hour.

I've had experience at several other facilities, but I would recommend 1st Choice to anyone in need of physical therapy. They are outstanding.
